With equal experience as a hands-on software engineer and leader of engineers, I understand the security discipline from technical, business, and regulatory perspectives. This allows me to proactively identify emerging issues, make swift and data-informed decisions, and transform our processes to align with current best practices. WHY IT MATTERS: A good process will have repeatedly good outcomes. With regulatory frameworks and threats changing every day, the ability to drive rapid change is imperative. I am consistently recognized by CTOs and CIOs as an effective change agent and evangelist as we navigate this challenging landscape. At Honeywell, I evolved our software development program into a high-end, business-friendly operation in just two years. Recently, I led process changes to improve the software security teams efficiency, with spectacular results. I am the holder of two patents and a primary contributor to many of Honeywell’s products and services.
