My interest is in an entry-level finance position, particularly in the areas of Business Analysis, Financial Analysis, Operations Analysis, or Accounting. With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University, combined with practical experience gained through two impactful internships, I am ready and eager to learn and contribute to a company. During my summer as a Business Development Intern at ISN Software, I honed my analytical skills by researching and assessing the feasibility of integrating an advanced billing capability into ISN's platform. Through financial forecasting and cost-benefit analysis, I recommended a strategic direction that resulted in management allocating resources to pursue the initiative. My performance was recognized as excellent, being rated second out of the class of 30 interns. At my internship at State Farm, I effectively handled property and casualty claims, demonstrating proficiency in managing operational processes. Importantly, I undertook a summer-long analysis of inflation's impacts on the insurance sector, presenting insights to the CFO, who commended the quality of my work. Through my college education, I developed skills in financial modeling, data analysis, financial statement analysis, investment analysis, and financial reporting. Moreover, my leadership abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving talents have been key in completing group projects and fostering collaborative teamwork. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to bring my skills and passion for finance to my first job, contributing to a company’s growth and success.
