About Patrick Gephart

My name is Patrick Gephart, and I am a dedicated professional, seeking a position in data administration, system design, or network security. I hold a Bachelors of Science in Information Systems from Purdue University, with minors in Business and Computer Science. This has given me a strong understanding of systems and efficiency in business, allowing me to better design computer systems and software to make jobs easier, more convenient, and less time-consuming, resulting in less money spent and less problems occurring in business processes. Having an understanding of business and technology gives me the ability to see from the lowest scope of a process to the big picture of a company - often times, this allows for solutions that are more targeted to multiple departments or an entire company, rather than just fixing a single issue in one area. Projects I'm proud of include- Running a grocery store department, including HR tasks and project management- Software building (including a VoIP server, and several smaller projects in Java and C)- People management (both managerial/occupational and in-class)- Network architecture and design (via classroom experience, including virtual consoles and server maintenance)- Financial and other functional spreadsheet designs with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. I am interested in system design, network security, software design, and/or database administration.
