Employed at ProAV since September 2019. Working on BIM Level 2 projects, producing Revit content/AV projects, plans, sections, elevations etc as per project BEP etc. Also developing the in-house BIM processes to help push the use of Revit within the field of AV. Thoroughly enjoying working with a great bunch of people. Enjoyed 7 years at Stride Treglown Architects, as an in-house application/content creation/training specialist, working across all disciplines/sectors, troubleshooting problems with Revit and AutoCAD. This included: Sharing BIM modelling knowledge with Revit Champions/supporting them in their development Identifying/developing areas of best practice. Supporting/developing the use of Template files/seed files. Creating training Guides and manuals, as required Providing Essentials/Advanced Revit training to new starters, Part 1's and Part 2's etc Developing/Delivering bespoke/focused training and CPD's Supporting coordination with external MEP/Structural teams. Project work included creating an entire cladding model for a university library. Revit Families/other content as required on a project by project basis.too much to list here. Model Audits/Project Set Up Transitioned the Landscape and Interior teams moving across from AutoCAD to Revit.(Creating the majority of the content, workflows, seed files/templates used by those teams; writing/delivering their bespoke training courses, and then mentoring the teams progression with Revit. Recently undertook a Navisworks for BIM Workflow course at Excitech, currently developing my Navisworks skills, and intend to learn at least the basics of Dynamo 28 years experience working with Autodesk products. This includes 21 years as an Autodesk Approved Instructor and Application Support Engineer, the majority of which was spent at Platinum Autodesk Partners CADLine, and Excitech. I have 17 years experience training, supporting and mentoring Revit Architecture to an advanced level.(I started on AutoCAD Release 11, and AEC 4.5, went on through all iterations of Architectural Desktop, and then on to Revit Version 5 in 2003). I was also a Bentley Institute Approved Instructor for MicroStation 95/J/V8. At CADLine I Authored 3 AOTC (Autodesk Official Training Course) Manuals for AutoCAD 2D/3D/LT 2004 used throughout Europe.
