I lead a diverse group of eight PRT forest seedling nurseries across five jurisdictions to ensure both operational and corporate goals are aligned. In collaboration with nursery managers, I ensure:* work environment is both safe and inclusive and fully staffed with competent, capable, and empowered individuals * capex projects are identified and analyzed to maximize ROI.* continuous improvement of crop reliability, customer service and financial performance * That risk management strategies are in place to mitigate crop risk, protect PRT assets, reduce environmental impact and to prevent injuries. Leveraging off my own knowledge of safety best practices, Lean production systems, horticultural understanding and forest seeding production experience, I identify opportunities and best practices within the organization, and help managers make sensible business decisions.
