I am an Agile program management professional with eighteen years' experience in the insurance industry and a personal brand of dedication to honesty, fair dealing, empathy, and the common good. My core strengths lie in my storytelling ability, my love of problem-solving, and my leadership through influence. In the words of one of my former leaders, my ability to forge respectful teams and influence decision-makers was "instrumental" in precipitating broad, wide-ranging change from entrenched systems and solutions to novel, optimized approaches. I bring a wide range of additional applicable skills, having acting as the business liaison, product manager, IT point-of-contact, audit lead, backup developer, archivist, front-line architect, and myriad other roles for the teams on which I've worked. My guiding principle is that there are great things to be discovered by people who are willing to look. Alongside some fantastic teammates, I have produced several major successes on shoestring budgets with skeleton crews. I build teams into collegial organizations based on a shared ethos of respect and teamwork.
