About Patrick Hebert

I am a recent graduate student at Nipissing University from the Honours Bachelor of Science, Specialization in Environmental Biology and Technology with a certificate in Forest Resource Management and Conservation. I am also a graduate from Canadore College’s Environmental Technician – Protection and Compliance program. I possess hands-on experience and practical working knowledge in environmental monitoring and sampling, chemical ecology, biostatistics, microbiology, landscape ecology, animal ecology, and conservation biology. As part of my experience at Nipissing University, I was fortunate enough to be part of the varsity Men’s Volleyball program. Being a student-athlete gave me the opportunity practice organization, discipline, time management, and to be a productive member of a team in order to find success in both my studies and sport. I was also a recipient of the Dave Marshall Leadership Award as a recognition of the numerous hours dedicated to help my community both on and off campus. I was also a multiple-time recipient of the Lakers Men’s Volleyball P.R.I.D.E. award, which is given to a student-athlete that expresses the core values of our team: Passion, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence.
