About Patrick Hirlehey

I've been senior online editorial staff at Sinking Ship, Eggplant and Pixel Underground completing broadcast online/offline and colour correction on the Avid Symphony, Premiere and Davinci Resolve. Previous to that I spent 7 years at Bullseye Post in the same capacity, and was an online editor at Optix Digital Post for five years working with Avid and Jaleo. Prior to that I worked for 2 years at Toronto Star Television when the station was getting off the ground doing editing, compositing and animation. At Bullseye I did everything from colour/online/editing to graphics for many feature docs, television series and reality shows. I've finished shows and delivered them to many of the large and small networks in Canada, the US and UK, adhering to a multitude of different formats and requirements. I've worked on animated television series, documentary features, films, music videos, commercials and corporate video. I am looking for employment that will challenge me both creatively and technically, I have a strong technical background rooted in Avid, Davinci, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and other applications in addition to formidable editorial skills. Coming from an online/colour correction background I have great attention to detail, and a good understanding of the delivery requirements, delivery formats and the myriad of technical details involved in finishing a television show. I feel I have good technical experience, and I also have a great rapport with clients, which is vital in this industry. Patience, keeping a cool head and the ability to solve problems are some of my greatest assets.
