Patrick works in the Personal & Succession Planning practice group of the law firm of Thompson Hine LLP in Cleveland, Ohio. He counsels high net worth individuals, families, and closely-held businesses in a wide range of personal, charitable, business, tax, multi-generational wealth transfer, asset protection, probate avoidance, and succession planning matters, and assisting clients with tax compliance, audit defense, trust and estate administration, and fiduciary litigation matters. Patrick is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)(inactive) in Ohio. He was a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the Ohio State Bar Association. Patrick received the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland's 2017 Distinguished Estate Planner Award.
