PhD graduate from the University of Melbourne. specialising in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Synthetic Biology (in-vitro protein production) and Membrane Protein Purification and Biology. Experienced post-doctoral researcher at Stockholm University, specialising in the membrane protein and synthetic biology fields. This experience taught me a great deal with respect to differing work practices, introduction to new techniques and scientific approach. I continued my scientific career as I ventured into industry as a Project Manager at CloneOpt AB, where I directed day to day protein production optimisation for several projects with CloneOpt's industry partners. I returned to Melbourne, Australia where I now lead the Biologics Purification team at CSIRO. The purification team are leaders in purification and documentation of a broad range of therapeutic protein targets. we work with Academic researchers, SMEs and large Biotechnology organisations.
