About Patrick Johnsen

I am a Crisis Admissions Intake Specialist at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, where I have been overseeing new patients admitted to the Emergency Department and into our Behavioral Health program. I am responsible for processing patient's admissions paperwork and serving as a liaison between patients and the medical staff. I have earned certifications in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), which enables me to handle crisis situations with confidence and care. Besides my current role, I also have twenty years of Higher Education experience in the post-secondary education industry. I have held leadership positions as a National Director of Education and Compliance for 7 US campuses, a Regional Director for 2 campuses and a School Director, where I have achieved remarkable results in increasing student outcomes, compliance, and accreditation. I am passionate about transforming students' lives through higher education and I am always eager to learn and improve myself. My core competencies include leadership, academic advising, student success, remote team management, and social networking.
