About Patrick Keys

I have a passion for understanding and solving complicated technical problems across many disciplines, striving to provide the best solution while under extreme time pressure. I am proficient in electronic hardware design, embedded software, networking, PLCs, communication protocols and high-level software, and enjoy learning new technologies and techniques. With a broad range of skills, I am able to deliver solutions on my own that would normally require a team of people to implement. During my career, I have had several opportunities to set up new departments within existing companies, and new companies in overseas locations. I am able to quickly analyse and troubleshoot problems within an organisation, and undertake staff management responsibilities where required. I particularly enjoy coaching people to help them learn new skills. I have been fortunate to work on a variety of large and small projects in the past for customers all over the world. I enjoy travelling to new destinations and meeting new people, and understanding how local or cultural differences can affect how a solution is implemented.
