I co-founded Zyetric Technologies Limited in 2018 to focus on a cutting edge AI/CV project - Fully AI based Product Placement in videos. Zyetric's major product is Zyviz.com. Zyviz.com has a very innovative business model that addresses the following 2 major pain-points in the current KOL marketing industry: 1. For advertisers: Too costly and time-consuming, although it is also known to be an efficient marketing channel; 2. For KOLs: Too time-inefficient and little income, although many people have great passion for filming. In short, we make use of AI and CV technologies to enable product placement on a cloud video advertising platform in a very scalable way. We cooperate with all KOLs and brand agencies and help them generate second revenue stream on top of their existing ones in a very time-efficient manner. The outcome is a Win-Win-Win model - advertisers saves cost and time, KOLs earns more than ever, and Zyviz.com benefits from providing the innovative service. Zyviz.com is the First Place Winner of The 10th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition-Growing Enterprise Group (), which is a prestigious technology contest organized by The Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China () and The Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province (). Our service has also been introduced on major medias in Hong Kong such as TVB and Ming Pao. Prior to this, I co-founded P2 Wireless Technologies and led the company to raise over USD$4M of funding and became one of the leading wireless mesh networking technology companies in the world. I have then sold majority of my shares in the company to a public company in Hong Kong in 2016, and am currently serving as the director of the company. I am also the co-author of the Physical-layer Network Coding (PNC) technology, which has been selected by Google Scholar as one of the 10 “Classic Papers” in the field of Computer Networks and Wireless Communications in 2017. In addition, I received the Hong Kong SME's Youth Entrepreneurship Award in 2015 and am the holder of over 20 US patents, many of them in the artificial intelligence and augmented reality fields. I am also appointed by the HK SAR Government to be a member of the Enterprise Support Scheme (ESS) Assessment Panel since 2021. I have received my PhD degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), my Master degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada (UBC), and my Bachelor degree from the University of California, Irvine, USA (UCI).
