About Patrick Lancaster

I am a GenX forward-thinking and trend-setting idea guy who believes in continuous improvement like kaizen and active customer feedback. My technical and service-oriented experience crosses the boundaries of in-person, online, and call center domains, plus US Air Force service and top-market television news. I self-taught myself HTML.ASP, and JavaScript and designed, coded, and maintained ABC15.com at KNXV-TV in Phoenix from 1995 through 2012, making that site the new media powerhouse that it is today. To engage viewers, I conceived and established ABC15's social media initiatives across multiple social media platforms at the time, and helped design and build the country's first live, state-wide multiple weather/webcam station network which resulted in five Emmy Awards and the E.W. Scripps Presidential Award. While I enjoy working with technology, it is people who come first and I enjoy working with stakeholders and discovering ways to create and maintain active engagement, in addition to researching and implementing continuous improvement to provide better and more accurate service. I have a passion for the country of Liberia in West Africa, and have made numerous trips there in support of Young Life and Samaritan's Purse. Liberia is rebuilding after nearly two decades of civil war, and I have learned much from the amazing people there. I enjoy photography, hiking, astronomy, and road trips across this incredible country, especially historical sites as my entire family were historians. P.S. All of this was written by myself and not a single byte of AI :D
