Research Chemist (PhD) with 8+ years of industrial and academic experience in chemistry, polymeric materials, and R&D. Built on a three-year apprenticeship at Bayer AG, a master’s thesis at BASF SE, and degrees (PhD, MSc, BSc) from esteemed international institutions: Completed a joint PhD at KIT and QUT, specializing in polymer, organic, and photochemistry, resulting in publications in high-impact journals./ & : Developed and tested new dispersing agents for paints and coatings at BASF SE during my master’s thesis. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience from a three-year apprenticeship as a Chemical Laboratory Technician at Bayer AG: Planned and executed experiments, analyzed data, and ensured project milestones were met. Effectively collaborated with interdisciplinary teams on international research projects in Germany, Australia, and the USA: Recently relocated to Leiden with my Dutch partner and eager to start a career in industry.
