I have a Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition and Instructional Technology (SLAIT) from the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. My dissertation focused on Second Language Acquisition doctoral students' perceptions of educational technology and their use of digital storytelling to explore and express those beliefs. I have about 20 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language (EFL) at private language institutes and in K-12 schools in Japan.
