About Patrick Marple

Policy researcher and academic with a passion for electoral politics and public service. Highly experienced in evidenced-based policy research and evaluation with both state and federal government institutions. Accomplished as a tertiary educator at Monash University in the fields of political science and public policy, with five years of experience as a teaching associate. Also highly trained as a client liaison and specialist within a retail environment, with 12 years of experience in client-facing positions. Currently pursuing doctoral qualification in political science with Monash University, after having completed a BA(Hon) in the same field, researching the impact of independent politics and community activism on Australia's electoral landscape. In addition, currently finalising a Bachelors in Science with Monash University. My passion is to utilise the skills I have developed in research and public relations in order to help affect policy and political decision making. Aiming to realise these aspirations in a professional career within the area of policy advice and public service.
