Over twenty five years as a Designer working in the industrial areas of natural gas piping and production, custom project design, refinery processes, chemical piping process, power piping process, equipment design, equipment layout, and project design consultation. Experience working with and leading a design discipline and cooperating with other design teams of multiple disciplines to accomplish common design parameters and deadlines. Knowledge and flexibility using multiple computer-aided drafting programs in 2D and 3D, including AutoCAD, Microstation, Autoplant, Cadworx, Inventor and SmartPlant 3D and Smartplant P & ID. Specialties: Mechanical and Piping Designer – As a designer provided CAD support for the mechanical and piping analyst engineers. Offered solutions through past experience in the design to reduce costs and improve function and accessibility. Staff Designer – As lead staff designer, was responsible for design and project scheduling of assigned tasks and coordinating with other design and detailing groups. Also assisted site contractors, project engineers and managers with job site issues.
