Accomplished C-suite executive and business leader with a successful 10+ year track record addressing the environmental, social, and governance expectations of public companies. At Verisk, I created the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility/ESG program from the ground up, achieving top 5 rankings in Investor’s Business Daily’s 100 Best ESG Companies for 2022 and 2023. Additional accomplishments: • Positioned the Company to successfully address investor and client expectations across a range of subjects, leading to improved scores in the annual S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, as well as assessments sponsored by MSCI, ISS, FTSE, Morningstar Sustainalytics, JUST Capital, and EcoVadis. • Created and led Verisk’s annual greenhouse gas emissions inventory for 8 years; completed CDP’s annual Climate Change Questionnaire for 7 years; and in 2023, published the Company’s first report meeting the requirements of the Financial Stability Board’s Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). • Led efforts to draft and adopt corporate policies and reports evidencing Verisk’s commitment to responsibility and transparency, such as the: o Human Rights Policy o Employee Health and Safety Policy o Statement on Modern Slavery o Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Report o Annual Corporate Social Responsibility Report • Led Verisk’s philanthropic engagements with the International Rescue Committee, GeoHazards International, Team Rubicon, YearUp, and others. My background includes extensive advocacy experience in government affairs and as an attorney, and 12 years of P&L responsibility leading the financial and operational turnaround of Verisk’s $180 million national property services business. Outside of my professional life, I created and co-founded the Bread of Life Drive, an annual one-week food drive benefitting the community where I was raised. I’m now a 33-year volunteer at the drive, which has distributed nearly 2 million food items through local social service agencies and food pantries to help individuals and families dealing with food insecurity.
