Patrick is a Director and Portfolio Manager with responsibility for Davy Private Clients’ RI Multi Asset offering. Over 10 years’ experience constructing and managing multi-asset, multi-manager portfolios with a Responsible Investment focus for discretionary clients. Member of RI Investment Committee since 2014 and has been Chair of RI Investment Committee since 2023. Joined Davy in 2013 after completing MSc. Computational Finance, obtained at University of Limerick. The MSc. program focused on quantitative finance techniques and constructing MATLAB based models, with a strong focus on option pricing models. Completed MSc. dissertation entitled “SABR interpolated Implied Volatility Surfaces for Local Volatility Models: Theory and Applications to the Pricing & Hedging of Exotic Equity Options.” Prior to working in the Investment Industry, employed as a Consultant Structural Engineer, working as part of multidisciplinary teams to design and construct buildings in Ireland. Work involved designing structural elements and communicating design with members of project team and the client. Drawing upon skills gained in an undergraduate degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from Trinity College Dublin and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from University of Limerick. Holds a degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from University of Limerick and a M.Sc. in Computational Finance from the Kemmy Business School at University of Limerick. Member of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland.
