Team Ohio Hockey A little over twenty years ago Team Ohio, a Midget Hockey Team was developed. The Teams are comprised solely of High School Hockey Players who participate prior to, and after, their high school season. The purpose for the formation of Team Ohio can be stated very simply:"To give student athletes an avenue to gain the necessary exposure in order to optimize their future opportunities, without sacrificing the valuable experience of playing for their high schools". In the past, the Ohio hockey player would have to forsake high school in order to receive such opportunities. Team Ohio participates against the highest level of competition available in North America. Over the last twenty years Team Ohio has travelled to play the top teams in the country and has had great success in State, District, Regional, and National Tournaments. In addition to the Pre Post Season Team Ohio also offers Spring and Showcase Seasons. This is put together in our Spring season and has been a great for the placement of our student athletes to the next level. More important than championships, is the fact that by competing at this level, student athletes are afforded the opportunity to display their skills in front of scouts from Intercollegiate, Junior A, Major A, Prep and Professional Organizations.
