About Patrick Morrell

As a former software developer at Epic, I specialized in the Population Health space, focusing on care gaps, performance measures, and reporting. I led several development projects, collaborated with other developers to successfully launch Epic's implementation of Git, and created a report that summarizes build within Epic aggregated by care gap type in a system. I also built a new pop-up in React to alter care gaps for a patient within Epic. In addition to my work at Epic, I have gained valuable experience as a software engineer intern at Tree Top, Inc, where I contributed to the launch of their new website "TreeApp" and boosted their web service by communicating and working with Amazon's Selling Partner API. I also have experience as an information management undergraduate assistant at USDA, where I assisted with various programming-related projects and created a novel microbiology analysis tool for the USDA to automate the biodata aggregation and transformation. This tool is still currently being used by USDA researchers. I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from Washington State University. I am passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems and improve the quality of life for people.
