About Patrick Morrison
I wanted to start early gaining experience in the workforce, so I participated in four internships between my sophomore and senior year of college. I graduated with a double major in Marketing and Management. My first job after graduating college was working as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep for Eli Lilly Diabetes Division. I was a territory manager for central Illinois, responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local doctors, new product rollout and growing the Humalog product line. After a year there, my daughter was born and I decided to move back to Ohio, where I worked at a local Allstate insurance office for six years. There, I was responsible for new business acquisition of P&C, Commercial and Life Insurance lines. I also ran our second location in Hilliard and trained new hires for three of those years. My time ended at Allstate because I couldn't advance. I decided to try my talents at new business acquisition and relationship building somewhere else, which led me to Vertiv. In my first year at Vertiv, I exceeded my sales goal at 191%, was considered to manage the Health Care Services inside account and made final round interviews for a new inside service sales position of Services Account Lead. I have been able to negotiate high value contracts, train new hires, plan and execute sales growth strategies, and optimize within Vertiv Operating Systems to place myself in a strong position for overall financial growth. All this, while developing and maintaining positive relationships with key decision makers and growing their business. Currently, I am managing a pipeline of over $3 million that I have built since my entry in March 2022. I have most enjoyed finding opportunities through data mining and presenting these opportunities for sales growth and strategies. I have also enjoyed training new hires at the local level in VOS like Oracle, CPQ and Power BI. I am passionate about building relationships based on transparency, hard work and mutual respect.
