I am a full-service intellectual property attorney who uses data-driven approaches to efficiently serve my clients. IP PROCUREMENT I secure high-quality intellectual property assets that are central to my clients’ businesses. I research patent data trends and use data analytics tools to more efficiently navigate the path of IP procurement. Through this, I avoid the costly and ineffective “back and forth” between the attorney and USPTO that results in wasted resources and worthless IP rights. I have advised clients on a wide range of technologies, including 3D printers, hand and power tools, vehicle parts, gas-powered devices, barbecue grills, electronics, software, and others. IP LITIGATION I also litigate intellectual property disputes that arise between competitor businesses, as well as those brought by nonpracticing entities. Whether the dispute is one of patent or trademark, I engage with my clients to custom-design a litigation strategy that meets their business needs. When representing the plaintiff, I find strategic ways to maximize the value of the client’s IP and achieve greater market position. When representing the defendant, I rigorously defend my clients and minimize the impact of the case on their business. LICENSING I negotiate licensing deals for clients in deals extending well into the nine figures. I engage with my clients on a business-driven level to execute on the greatest priorities for the deal. With this understanding, I am able to creatively adjust the agreement to create win-win scenarios for both sides rather than forcing either party to “give in.” I have successfully navigated complex arrangements in virtually every industry, including the health care, computer software, electronics, and consumer products spaces.
