About Patrick Niederhold

I am a passionate developer with a lengthy experience of Software Development in multiple fields including aviation, satellite communication aswell as automation & automotive engineering in embedded systems.Graduating with a bachelor's degree in aviation engineering in Austria allowed me to acquire the fundamentals of aeronautical engineering as well as the basics of C/C++ software development. After my first working experiences in the fields of satellite communication, I wanted to further strengthen my knowledge in software development and signal processing to develop a well-rounded skill set. To do so, I achieved to simultaneously work as a Satellite Communications Engineer while working on my Master in Space Science and Earth from Space. The studies' interest emphasis lied on signal processing and communication technologies. I completed essential classes related to the field and moved on to full-time software development. During the last seven years of working as a communications engineer, software developer and support engineer, I was able to participate in a variety of projects ranging from embedded satellite applications and automotive driving vehicles, to real-time capable microprocessor systems responsible for large warehouse management systems. This wide range of experience gave me the opportunity to quickly adapt my software development skills to the required fields of work, ensuring a seamless experience for the team. I have strong social skills, allowing for efficient communication with the team and the other departments as needed, as well as supporting the team management itself. Furthermore, my positive personality helps me successfully manage tight deadlines and potentially stressful situations.
