I lead Offsite Engineering Solutions which is a Dubai based firm of consulting engineers, specializing in the design and delivery of Modular and Prefabricated building systems. As a passionate engineer, project manager and business consultant, I have successfully positioned developers, architects, engineers, main contractors and sub-contractors among others, to build smarter and faster infrastructure with upto 70% less labour by leveraging modular off-site construction. With 20+ years of construction history across The Caribbean, Ireland, UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia as a contractor and module manufacturer, Offsite Engineering Solutions has a vast international experience and expertise to deliver value, increased margins and sustainable construction in the region. We advise our clients on how to leverage prefabrication to reconfigure designs to exponentially reduce the labour requirement on site and expediting construction process. Part of our comprehensive services include setting up of prefabrication workshops, training client’s operations staff for efficient production of modular systems and coaching design staff to transform traditional 2D drawings into 3D modular BIM compliant designs and extract the necessary workshop production drawings. Our client list includes some of the leading names in the region including: Saudi Aramco, King Abdullah City for Science and Technology (KACST), Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), ALDAR, Omniyat, Rayadah Investment Company (RIC), SEHA, Jabal Omar Development Co, DTCD, Oman Hospitality Company, Al Abdulkarim Holding Co. and Bawabat Al Shamal Real Estate Company WLL. We are currently advising an arm of the KSA Government on the adoption of modern and automated systems to address their housing shortage and are developing a policy proposal for the Dubai Municipality to encourage greater adoption of smart construction systems.
