Personal Life: Patrick, a 20-year-old from Kingston, PEI, embodies dedication, respect, hard work, and integrity. His leisure time is filled with activities that bring him joy, such as watching a Bruins games on TV, tinkering, cruising with his family, and playing video games with friends. Education: Having graduated from Bluefield High School in 2022, Patrick was driven to pursue higher education. In 2023, he earned his Diploma in Business Administration from Holland College. Throughout high school, Patrick explored a diverse range of subjects, from trades like Welding to business classes like Accounting. In college, he enjoyed engaging business courses such as Human Resource Management, Accounting, and Marketing. Work Experience: Patrick's work journey commenced in July 2017 when he secured his first summer job as a Park Attendant at Sandspit Amusement Park, which is part of the Maritime Fun Group. Throughout his career with the company, he embraced various roles at different locations. Stepping out of his comfort zone, he took on the role of a Scare Actor at Cavendish Beach Adventure Zone in 2018. In 2021, Patrick joined the Greco Pizza team as a Food Service Worker. His hard work and dedication were recognized, resulting in two promotions in July 2021. Initially, he became a Shift Supervisor at the Adventure Zone, and later as a Park Supervisor at Sandspit. In April 2022, Patrick began working with the company's Maintenance team as a General Labourer. Continuing his pursuit of growth, Patrick began an internship with the company's Human Resource team in March 2023. In June 2023 Patrick received another promotion, this time as a Shift Manager at Sandspit. Aside from his roles with the Maritime Fun Group, Patrick has held positions in community engagement, marketing, and event management. Volunteer Experience: Patrick is dedicated to volunteering with the Charlottetown Sea Cadet program, where he manages social media accounts and assists with training. His commitment to the cadet program began in 2015, and he climbed the ranks to become a Chief Petty Officer 1st class and served as a Coxswain before aging out in 2022. Additionally, Patrick has volunteered with other community organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters and local school breakfast programs. Goals: Patrick has the goal of achieving his degree in Business Administration. He plans to work towards this goal by completing classes on a part-time basis over the next few years. Furthermore, he aspires to continue thriving in both the cadet program and the PEI tourism industry.
