Quality control: ISO quality control standards, supply management, experience with using, calibrating and maintaining inspection equipment including standard Rockwell, Superficial, Microhardness testing as well as microstructure analysis of all steel. • Heat treating: • Annealing, Austempering, Carbonitriding, Carburizing, Case Hardening, Through/Neutral Harding, Conventional Oil Quenching, Marquenching, Normalizing, Stress Relieving and Tempering are all methods I have used and familiar with. • Not only can I read heat treat blueprints and understand the specifications but have lots of experience developing the cycle parameters and methods necessary to reach such automotive grade qualifications. • I am also familiar with some cutting and grinding of steels, and the effects that it can have on the properties of the steel. • Hands-on working, learning, and mentoring is something that I enjoy and excel at such as teaching the techniques required to mount, cut, and prep samples for heat treat analysis. • Supervising and managing employees. • Developing and maintaining inventory and maintenance systems. • Certified forklift driver.
