About Patrick Okeefe

I am a post-doctoral scholar at the Oregon Health and Science University. My current work involves looking at cohort changes in cognitive aging. My primary role in this research is developing the statistical models and analyses that will be used to answer our substantive questions. In this work I have used Bayesian statistical methods, survival analysis, and multilevel modeling. I have been the lead author on three articles for this grant, one published and two more currently undergoing peer-review.In addition to the skills gained in my current position, I have an extensive statistical repertoire from my PhD in Quantitative Psychology. This includes structural equation modeling, item response theory, behavioral genetic methods (which were, in part, the topic of my Master's thesis), and propensity score methods (which were the subject of my dissertation).I am interested in positions that would allow me to continue to use the skills I have gained.
