About Patrick Oneil

Mr. O’Neil offers over 25 years of accomplishment- laden experience in the waste industry; driving achievement in revenue growth, brand marketing, and operation efficiency goals. A key strategic and tactical contributor in efforts that drove Emerald Waste Services revenue from 25 million to 75 million, he brings valuable insight and knowledge regarding the leadership and management challenges faced in operations and revenue growth. Leveraging an ever expanding portfolio of qualifications covering sales, operations, and general management core competencies, Mr. O’Neil proved time and time again his leadership in responding to changing market conditions and his ability to wear “many hats” in the effort to meet and exceed company goals. Tasked with providing leadership through acquisition transition and turnaround situations he repeatedly proved his ability to deliver strong and sustained results. Most recently Mr. O’Neil founded Alternative Waste Solutions (AWS) where he serves as the President. AWS began operations in August of 2011 and has rapidly grown in both revenue and profit under his leadership. AWS currently has annual revenues in excess of ten million dollars and is the largest independent hauler in the Atlanta market area. Prior to this he was the Vice President for Emerald Waste Services overseeing 8 landfills and 6 hauling companies servicing over one hundred thousand customers. Mr. O’Neil had complete P&L responsibility and in his final year exceeded his profit target by 11.2%. Throughout his career he has established a reputation for his strong leadership skills and ability to build teams of loyal employees at large companies such as Waste Management where he was promoted 5 times in 8 years or in smaller privately held companies where he consistently delivered results.
