About Patrick Packard

I have spent my professional career working in the higher education vertical. I have consulted in development, implementation, support and procurement across a range of solutions deployed within higher education, including Workday Student, PeopleSoft (Oracle) Campus Solutions, SunGard Higher Education (Matrix, Banner, Enrollment Management) and the FolderWave Student-1 solution suite. An early 9-year career at Boston College encompassed roles in various capacities of student administration, during which I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at BC. I joined Nellie Mae in 1996 as a Technical Product Services Manager, spending two years diversifying my experience in student loan processing/servicing and debt management education. Between 1998 and 2001 I began my software and IT consulting career as a PeopleSoft development analyst and implementation consultant, developing and implementing student administration solutions at colleges and universities across the country. After joining SunGard Higher Education in 2001 (now Ellucian) as a Senior Solutions & Program Consultant, I specialized in solution consulting across the Student Administration and Enrollment Management space. I was employed with Exeter Group as a team lead and implementation consultant, joining FolderWave in 2009 supporting our first K-12 Student-1 client and managing client delivery services for the Student-1 customer base. I have a BA in Business Administration from Boston College, and I successfully completed a series of course work at the BC Carroll School of Management, with a concentration in higher education administration. I live in the New England area and have three children - Mary, Danny and Erin.
