About Patrick Pan

I started my first step in the tech industry as a student worker at Siemens Mobile and had the opportunity to be part of some significant inventions in the field of antenna development for several Siemens mobile phone generations. After graduating in Electrical Engineering with focus on telecommunications I contributed to the development of 2G/3G/4G mobile networks products at Nokia Networks. Equipped with long-term experience in IT and telecommunications sector I changed to the energy industry with focus on developing sustainable energy solutions for the customers and leading innovative projects to generate new business models. At Westnetz my passion for identifying new ideas emerged during different projects by filing patents for energy solutions (currently 8 disclosures at the German Patent Office). Lately I joined the Corporate Development business unit to make a contribution to strategic topics and business development with focus on grid smartification projects and business growth.
