About Patrick Patton

I have nearly 30 years of experience in the Information Technology career field. I started in the US Army when I was 17 and worked in positions that spanned a multitude of IT proficiencies from Customer Support, Systems Administration, Unix support, Network installation, and Telephony. I used that experience to spring into a long career in IT, working on both the corporate and government sides of employment. I have maintained my current education in the certified and collegiate experience. I have a degree in Network engineering. I hold a current Security Plus CE certificate. I also have many industry certifications, including but not limited to Windows 10, Dell, Google, and more. I am currently in a Lead IT Management position with DHA. I have managed massive IT-related projects like the transition to MHS Genesis for General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital. I manage a small team, and we have a distinct reputation for our ability to get jobs done with few resources and staffing. I love working with people and have committed to studying and learning about leadership and communication with people as much as possible. I love what I do. I am still passionate about solving problems, creating solutions, and helping people. I have exceptional experience in project organization, property management, and IT hardware research and purchasing. I am seeking opportunities in my local area or fully remote jobs from home. I have a home office and workspace that would allow me to work from home successfully. I am no stranger to self-driven work and education from home, and I embrace the opportunities.
