Dr. Pizzo is a founding member of Equity 4 LI Youth designed to create opportunities for young diverse populations in 2019; Dr. Pizzo was recently elected to serve as President/Chair of Equity 4 LI Youth for 2021/22. Dr, Pizzo is also currently a member of The ChildSafe School Scientific Advisory Board, The Long Island Black Teachers Association (LIBEA), Long Island Latino Teachers Association (LILTA), Special Legislative Taskforce to Combat Antisemitism, East Meadow Kiwanis, and a Civic Member of the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Pizzo has published his dissertation and has also been published in journals and training manuals for his work related to leadership, management, sustainability, and equity.
