I am a Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in OCD and sex, including the intersection of the two. I have a passion for and genuine comfort with treating autogenous obsessions, including intrusive thoughts about the sorts of things no one wants to talk about- pedophilia, incest, sexual orientation, harm, religion, relationships etc. While I use Cognitive Behavioral principles and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) for treating OCD, I am also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy so I bring to my work an understanding of attachment theory and a desire to help my clients both get their OCD under control as well as build and deepen their bonds with others in pursuit of rich, meaningful engagement with life again.
