I am an Associate Professor of Medicine with Tenure at Duke University School of Medicine and Director of Dialysis at the Durham VA Medical Center. My current research interest is in understanding the mechanisms of cardiovascular disease among patients with chronic kidney disease, with a particular focus on the epidemic of sudden cardiac death.
