About Patrick Quinn

In 2015, I underwent bilateral hip surgery at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO for Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI), a hip disorder that challenged me on & off the tennis court for many years. After three hip surgeries and medical research in the fields of orthopedics, cardiology, and public health, I've chosen to pursue the medical field to provide the same level of compassion, care, and support that I've received as a patient. In 2020, I completed my undergraduate degree in Neuroscience & Behavior from the University of Notre Dame after studying on the pre-med track. My time at Notre Dame included volunteering with a medical brigade in Nicaragua, interning at a Sports Medicine clinic in Vail, CO, and studying abroad in Angers, France. Additionally, I taught tennis in the local community, competed on the Club Tennis team, and led my peers as a Student Government Senator. After graduating, I took two Gap Years to work at a non-profit youth foundation specializing in mental health, run a health & wellness podcast focused on Neuroscience & the human brain, and volunteer at the Blanchet House, an organization in Portland, OR addressing homelessness in our community. My vision is to bring the same compassion, level of excellence, and patient-specific care to medicine, as I received from my mentor, Dr. Marc Philippon, at The Steadman Clinic, whose seven words in 2015 changed my life -"Young man, tell me about your tennis."
