Chef Patrick’s passion for cooking came from an early age from his mother’s garden with a salt shaker and a sun ripened tomato. Today his philosophy has come full circle, his roots shine true in the fact that he is ingredient driven and prefers little confusion on the plate. As a graduated of the Culinary Institute of America, Patrick is skilled in several cuisines, but is truly focused on Contemporary American with Global influences. Patrick’s love of travel and adventure has brought him to a career in yachting after working years in the San Francisco food scene. During his time at sea he has won several awards, including “Best Charter Yacht Chef New England”, 2009, 2nd Place at the "Concours de Chef" Competition, Antigua, 2009 and 2010. In 2012, Patrick and his Wife Heather, turned in their sea legs and settled down in Louisville. Patrick fell in love with Louisville dining scene. He is currently the Chef de Cuisine of the only 5 Diamond Restaurant in Kentucky, The Oakrrom at the Seelbach Hilton.
