About Patrick Rooney

As a Partner at ProMeritum Investment Management LLP, Patrick leads the Business Development and Investor Relations functions, leveraging his extensive experience and skills in customer relationship management, portfolio management and economics primarily through face to face interactions. He works with clients across the US, Europe, and Asia, offering investment solutions that align with their goals and values. Patrick has over a decade of experience in the investment management industry, having previously worked as a Sales Manager and a Portfolio Manager at First Trust, where he started with a sales role in the US, then helped manage the capital markets efforts for the UCITS ETFs domiciled in Western Europe and finally leading the markets of Switzerland, Benelux and the Nordic countries. Patrick hold a Master's degree in Finance (MSc) from London Business School, a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Brown University, and completed the Series 7, 63 & 65 certifications from FINRA and the IMC in the UK. He also completed the Sustainable Business Strategy course from Harvard Business School Online. Patrick conversational in Spanish and highly skilled in public speaking and persusasive communication.
