Background
About Patrick Rutledge
Graduate from Widener University with a degree of Doctorate of Physical Therapy (May 2019). My goal is to combine my two passions of martial arts and physical therapy into one clinic/school, and have the opportunity to work with martial artists from all backgrounds. I graduated from my undergraduate at Oregon State University (OSU) with a major in Bioresource Research, emphasized in Biotechnology, and a minor in Chemistry. While at OSU, I conducted an undergraduate research thesis for my major, dealing with plant pathology. This research focused around resistance protein localization and function; the written thesis link can be found further down my page under projects. I enjoy playing guitar, rock climbing, and training in TaeKwon-Do and Jiu-Jitsu. I have trained in TaeKwon-Do for the past 20 years, and it has allowed me to create a balance between my mind and body, along with developing prominent leadership skills.
