While technology and market dynamics continue to evolve at an astounding rate, construction remains a people business. Having had the good fortune to work with some great leaders and mentors through multiple operations and corporate roles, I'm a strong believer that engagement is truly the difference between good and great. From healthy culture comes discretionary effort, safety, quality, productivity and brand power. Much of my career has been about taking care of people through both opportunity and difficult change, working hard to remain connected to boots on the ground, understanding and respecting what sustains a business. Through successive operations and corporate roles to the VP level driving shared services, strategy and structure, M&A and system implementations, I've developed the relationships and perspective necessary to support complex business structures. Jardeg is a passionate team of results oriented professionals that bring business solutions and great people to the construction environment. Strategic partnerships with a growing working alliance of great builders place Jardeg among the largest service and solutions providers in the Canadian construction industry. I hold a B.Ed from the University of Alberta and executive education in both HR and Finance from Queens University - and while that all sounds great, some of my most valuable education has been courtesy of the amazing superintendents I've had the honour of working with over the years - they've challenged me to be real, inspired me to find a way and gave me the space to try again when I had failed.
