About Patrick Scribner

Twenty years of military service, 24 years as a government contractor, and a few years bringing new IO and SC based ideas into the corporate/business environment. For over twenty-five years I have focused on the collection, processing, and analysis of information - how information is used, and how people process that information to make decisions. I continue to contribute thought to the professional discussion of scientifically backed ideas on "how people think" and "why they make the decisions they do". What makes two people sitting in the same room, given the same information, make different decisions? What makes two people from totally different environments, given very different information, arrive at the same decisions? When you understand these scenarios in the absolute, you can begin to understand the real world of decisions and the "gray" areas. My goal is to understand the "gray".
