About Patrick Seifter

I'm a native Arizonan, and have been a political activist for over a decade. I am also a painter that has had pieces featured in exhibits including the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMOCA), and earned a degree in history from ASU's College of Letters and Sciences. I have volunteered for many political causes since the summer of All the years experience have given me many opportunities, such as serving as the Senior Organizer for Arizona State Students for Obama in 2012, or March of 2016 when testified before the Arizona State House Committee on Elections. This was regarding the shameful management of the 2016 Presidential Preference Election. I was the second person to testify but the first to call for the resignations of Helen Purcell and Michelle Reagan. I had the honor, in November of 2016, of being elected to serve a Chairperson of the Legislative District 24 Democrats. In this capacity I am committed, with the rest of the elected board, to building a more equitable, inclusive, and active Democratic Party. I enjoy writing, researching, working with talented individuals who are striving for good social and structural change. I am always looking for opportunities that will allow me to gain more knowledge and experience in these areas.
