An experienced Electrical Maintenance Professional who has success with new projects as well as maintaining existing electrical assets. Electrical Safety is always the highest priority. 2012 - Hired fulltime at Arcelor Mittal Dofasco as an Electrical Apprentice. 2014-2016 - Worked as an Electrical Area Lead in the creation and commissioning of Arcelor Mittal Dofasco's #6 Continuous Galvanizing Line. This sparked my interest in becoming an Electrical Asset Trade Specialist to further focus on equipment reliability and maintenance practices. 2019 - Became the Electrical Asset Trade Specialist for Arcelor Mittal Dofasco's #5 Galvanizing Line.2022 - Moved to Calgary Alberta and was hired fulltime at Magna IV Engineering as a Field Service Technician. My current role includes- Work safely and effectively on low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems in a variety of environments, including commercial, utilities, manufacturing, mining, pipeline and oil and gas- Commissioning, repair and maintenance of primary and secondary power equipment including circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, protective relays, etc- Confidently work with various brands of test and troubleshooting equipment- Work with project teams effectively through collaboration, support, and team focus- Ensure safe work process is executed with each job and a culture of safety is fostered- Ensure completion of technical reports and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and completeness of work- Ability to interact with clients in a courteous and professional manner- Identify and implement process improvements- Test equipment calibration management- Assist in preparing reports, tender packages and quotation documentation for clients
