About Patrick Smekens

Business focused individual with a large experience in Finance, Business Excellence, SAP and Product Management which I combine in my current position as Senior Business Process Manager. This large experience gives me a good helicopter view which is together with my maturity the ideal base to move to a more managing position. Finance as the base foundation of a business learned me to assess the financial impact of changes and improvements and keep projects within their budget. Business Excellence gave me more insight in processes and the ongoing optimization of them to new business needs and developments. My in depth knowledge of the different SAP modules makes it possible to create seamless processes. Selecting the right people for the right job, inspiring people to do a better job and developing KPI’s to steer them was also a big part of this. Working together with Sales in my Product Manager position gave me a great insight in developing strategies and build up sustainable long term customer relationships and how Finance, SAP and Business Excellence can support this. I am looking for a new challenge where my extensive knowledge as Business Process Manager moves out of the shadow of the main product and contributes more to the core business. I am the perfect link between your business and processes.
