DevOps Engineer | Software Release Engineer | Systems Engineer My dream of becoming an engineer began years ago, thanks to my very nerdy dad who introduced me to programming on a TI-99, sparking my journey into software, systems, and DevOps engineering. No matter the type of engineering, as long as you can call me an engineer, I’m happy. I love this field because it allows me to solve problems across a variety of industries. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to work that has provided a secure, reliable financial platform, helped people connect with their ancestry, developed advanced operating systems (for their time), and entertained many through video games. The diversity of these experiences has given me broad exposure to different industries, technologies, and challenges. My family and friends call me a jack of all trades because I love fixing things—cars, appliances, electronics, you name it. That same enthusiasm drives me professionally. I enjoy troubleshooting, solving problems, and—more importantly—figuring out how to prevent those problems in the future. My expertise spans build and CI/CD pipelines, server and application setup, systems administration, development, and automated deployment. I also enjoy collaborating with others, whether it’s solving a problem for a customer or training new teammates. Helping others grow and succeed is just as rewarding as tackling technical challenges.
