About Patrick Taylor

I am a recent alumnus of Western Carolina University, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Music. As a student, I planned and executed an independent research project, completing a certification in Social/Behavioral Research from CITI Program, demonstrating my competency in conducting research and data analysis in psychological studies. In addition to my psychology studies, I also participated in musical performances with the jazz and guitar ensembles, debuting my own original compositions and arrangements. I have gained diverse and valuable work experience in various industries, such as human resources, sales, and mentoring. While finishing school, I was a mentor at Goodale School and Recovery Community, where I provided guidance and support to adolescent boys in a therapeutic school setting. I currently work as a music teacher at Guitar Center, instructing students in guitar, bass, and piano. I have developed strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills through these roles, which I believe are essential for any professional endeavor. I look forward to building a career in People/Human Services and am interested in work processes, personell, and trends.
