About Patrick Thwaite

I am a young planner working at Logan City Council as an Enquiries and Lodgement officer in the Development Assessment branch. I graduated with a Bachelor of Urban and Environmental Planning from Griffith University in 2022. I am excited to enter the field of planning and am interested in finding out about the many different pathways within the profession. I am particularly interested in development assessment and public policy. Through this role I have developed strong customer service abilities and enjoy meeting the needs of customers. I enjoy both individual and collaborative work and acknowledge the depth of knowledge my peers and coworkers can provide in either a university or professional environment. Because of this I am comfortable working in a number of different positions. I am willing to learn and work on my professional development. I hope to meet many different people within the planning profession and look forward to gaining invaluable knowledge from others.
