About Patrick Viljoen

As the sustainability leader, I advocate for our members, and in the broader public interest to governments, regulators and standard setters. I represent members' interests on several key bodies in Australia and internationally, including the Integrated Reporting and Connectivity Council, the ASX Corporate Governance Council, the Australian Public Policy Committee and Accounting for Sustainability's Accounting Bodies Network (ABN). I also actively contribute to our thought leadership and the provision of practical member support as they navigate the sustainability landscape. With a strong background in education, I have also worked intimately on the creation of a range of micro-credentials spanning across sustainability and strategic management accounting. From a personal perspective, I am committed to advocating for an equitable future, with vastly reduced inequality and increased quality of life. A tall order indeed.
