About Patrick Waite

Having achieved my Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems from Boston University. I am currently working as a Systems Analyst for the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Previously work includes various Web Design/Development contracts as a Front End Developer as well as administrative work.My intention is to never stop learning and continue expanding my knowledge base. I feel that with my academic mindset I am quick to pick up and learn new things. On an interpersonal level, I am a friendly, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic, and take great pride in the quality of my work. In addition to strong organizational and time management skills, my experiences often have offered the opportunity to better my abilities and helped me learn new skills.I value my academic studies and accomplishments but also yearn for learning more from within the working world. Additionally I've obtained a certificate for the IT Support Specialist programs from Mount Wachusett Community College, to complement my Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Certificate in Social Media for Business from L.E.R.N. My course academic work has included Java programing and covered Cultural Analysis, Social Media, Web and Mobile App Development, Linux Bash, Visual Basic, and Python programing.
